Thistle Lane Farm is in its second generation. It was originally purchased by our uncle in 1957 because of his love for horses. Our parents purchased the farm in 1973 when we moved from Detroit Michigan. 10 years ago we decided that we wanted to raise beef cattle and we wanted to explore the grass feeding cattle. In order for this to happen we had to attend lots of conferences to learn how to rotational graze cattle. We have been raising 60-70 Red Devon white face crosses successful ever since. The farm also includes meat goats and chickens. Our egg layers free range and our meat chickens our raised in portable tractors that are moved daily. Our farm is our pride and joy and we want to share our passion of natural farming with others around the world.
